MIEA BOARD OF DIRECTOR ELECTIONS
A number of Board positions are open this year. MIEA needs Directors who are committed and who have the time and support from their schools and/or employers to attend meetings and work to meet MIEA responsibilities.

BEST PRACTICES LAB
MIEA will showcase some of Montana educator’s most exemplary lesson plans and curriculum in a lab setting. The displays can be visited throughout the conference. Your will have opportunity to talk to teachers one-on-one about the most successful and innovative Indian Education for All techniques.

HIGH SCHOOL PRESENTATION CONTEST
High school students are invited to submit essays on the conference theme, “Nurturing American Indian Leadership Into The Future”. Five $100 prizes will be awarded. Students will present their essays at the conference.
Entry form is included in packet.

MIEA AWARD LUNCHEON
Each year MIEA recognizes leaders in the field of Indian Education at the Award Luncheon. We know there are individuals in each of our communities who deserve to be recognized for all of their hard work. If you have someone you would like to see recognized, please nominate them on the linked form.

TRADITIONAL POW WOW
Bring your shawl, dance outfits and
for the Saturday night social dance. You have three days to scope out your Owl Dance partners.

FUN RUN
Saturday morning at 7:00 AM! Walk (fast) if your run has run out.

TALENT SHOW
On Friday evening, April 1 at 6:00 PM there will be a Talent Show. Everyone is welcome to perform! Highlight your hidden talent for a discerning audience.

ELDER'S LOUNGE
Throughout the entire conference there will be an area for rest.
