I hold an Associates of Arts Degree in Early Childhood and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. These degree are from Eastern Montana College which now the Montana State Billings. My Masters is in Elementary Administration from New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, New Mexico. I have been a para-professional, 4th grade teacher, curriculum specialist, Title IV Director and an Elementary principal. I have served on a number of Boards and Commissions at the local and at the state level. I am presently the chair of the Montana Advisory Council for Indian Education and a member of the Montana Committee on Civil Rights. In addition to my educational duties, I am a State Representative for House District 5 in Big Horn and Rosebud Counties. I have served two terms in the House of Representatives for the State of Montana and sit on the Executive Board for the Democratic Party. I am a trained assessor for the Western Regional Institute for Community Oriented Public Safety. |
